NBA Legend Bill Walton Speaks About Mirabella at ASU

On January 21, during ESPN’s live broadcast of the University of Arizona/Arizona State University basketball game, NBA legend Bill Walton generously sang the praises of Mirabella at ASU.

A longtime friend of ASU President Dr. Michael Crow, Walton shared with viewers the accomplishment of creating such an innovative, forward-thinking senior community, with incredible access to ASU’s faculty and learning opportunities, gorgeous high-rise residences, social and cultural opportunities, healthcare continuum and more.

Bill Walton also shares a connection with Medford, Oregon-based Pacific Retirement Services, ASU’s partner in the Mirabella endeavor. He was the #1 pick in the 1974 NBA draft by the Portland Trailblazers, and went on to deliver the franchise’s first and only championship in 1977. Since the broadcast, Mirabella at ASU has received calls and emails from across the country inquiring about joining our community. Thank you, Bill!
